*Glam Studio*

I'm going to be 100% honest. I am not the best at make-up, but one thing I do know, is that you really need to try before you buy. The best thing you can do, is go down to your local boots- or wherever you buy your make-up- and try some on. Sometimes you can't buy a product in store, so you have to buy it online, without out testing it. Or maybe you want to try on a full face of make-up, but you don't want to go into a shop a go through all of their testers. This is where Glam Studio comes in.

Glam Studio is an online program where you can make full make-up looks on a model or on a picture of yourself. There are loads of these websites, but I think Glam Studio is the best by far. You can choose from real brands such as Benefit and Nars, when on other sites you're limited to 'Foundation 1' or 'Pink Blush'. You can add foundation, concealer, powder, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick and lipgloss to your look.

I have created a sample look :)

As you can tell I'm not brilliant at make-up :P

Anyway, you can see from what I did that Glam Studio is quite cool, and it's a real help when buying make-up. They have real products in lots of shades and colours, and I love that you can choose how much of the product you want to apply to the photo. I really like this program and I hope you go check it out for yourselves :)

She Is Not For Sale

at 19:18 0 comments
Today I will be branching away from my usual fashion and beauty posts, to write about something serious.

Human trafficking.

There is a link between fashion, beauty and human trafficking may seem odd, but more and more people in the fashion and beauty industry are starting to address this problem. Fashion brands such as Top Shop and All Saints are now using fashion to combat human trafficking.

Human trafficking has become more lucrative and much safer than selling guns and illegal substances. It is an increasing crime, and as bloggers we can help spread spread the word and together, we can help put a stop to human trafficking.

As girls and women, we should be more aware of this going on all around us. There are more slaves alive now than there has been at any time throughout history, and the industry is worth over $32 billion USD. Be careful and aware where you shop, and even where you get your nails done as that can have an impact.

Thank you so much for reading, and if you can, please blog about this subject to help raise awareness.
