School Stories #1 | The Time I Climbed Out A School Window :P

at 09:14 0 comments
Way back in first class, when I was eight or nine, I really needed to go to the bathroom. The toilets in that classroom were a room straight off the classroom with two stalls an two sinks. Anyway, this one day I went into one of the stalls and locked the door. After I had finished in the toilet, I tried to unlock the door, but the lock came straight off in my hand :P I had forgotten that the stalls lock was broken! After about ten minutes of violently shaking the door I saw that the window was opened a crack. The window was about 6 foot high- it was a super high window- so I climbed up on the toilet and hoisted myself onto the window sill. It took a lot of maneuvering, but I managed to squeeze through the crack in the window and sit on the windowsill on the other side. It was a big jump from the sill to the grass, but somehow I made it :) I walked around the school looking for a door to get back in, but since it wasn't lunchtime no doors were open. I walked back to the window into our classroom and watched my teacher fretting, obviously thinking I had run away. I gathered some little stones to stand on so I could see in though the window properly and knocked loudly. All my classmates turned around laughing, and when my teacher turned around she screamed :) My teacher got the secretary to let me back in. I didn't get into any trouble, as I explained the situation. Anyway, that's the story about the time I climbed out through a school window :P

Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation Review

I went into Boots yesterday with no brand or product in mind. After about twenty minutes, I stumbled upon the Collection stand. I have heard of this foundation, but I haven't read any reviews- which is not usually like me :)

I purchased this foundation in the shade 4, Warm Beige. I bought it a darker shade than I usually would, so I could have a bit of a summer glow :) I tried it for the first time this morning, and I'm already in love <3. It glides on really well and blends even better. It gives a dewy glow but it can sometimes look shiny. As for the packaging, the thick frosted glass makes the product look very high end.

( That's not a tattoo, it's blue pen :P )
Anyway, I bought this foundation in Boots for €9.95. I suppose one problem with this product is that it's only available in six shades, and the darkest shade is only a medium, so if you have dark skin I'm afraid you're out of luck :( I have been blessed with hay fever, and the Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation covers up the redness around my nose perfectly.
You should really, really try this out :)

Artist Obsession- Foxes

at 21:48 0 comments
TootyFruity did a post like this on her (awesome) blog, so I thought I'd write one too :)

-❤️-❤️-❤️-

Foxes is a British singer who has just released her first album, Glorious. I first came across her when Clarity was covered on Glee. Ever since, I've been addicted to her music. I'd say her style is a cross between Lorde and Florence Welch- as the lyrics sometimes sound like a lighter version of a Lorde song, but the music is much more upbeat, like a Florence and the Machine song. Foxes' song Youth was the track in the background of a Debenhams advert last year.

My top three songs by Foxes are:

1. Holding Onto Heaven
2. Glorious
3. Let Go For Tonight

I hope you try out her music :) If there's any artist you recommend please, please please comment because I'm always looking for new music :)
